Focus Maui Nui is a grass-roots vision of Maui’s assets and challenges, values and priorities, developed to guide decision makers over the coming years.
Some developers held a "Talk Story" series of workshops over the course of a week in November 2005 to get community input about a proposed new development on Maui.
Maui County Mayor Alan Arakawa recently formed an Anti-litter Task Force to develop plans to combat littering in the county. I attended some of their meetings as a way to practice dialogue mapping in a live setting.
